LANGLEY, Canada - Knelson Engineering and Manufacturing (KEM) has recently fabricated two ship loading assemblies that will be integrated into the latest design of "Cascading Chutes" for the loading of potash at Neptune Bulk Terminals (Canada) Ltd. (Neptune) of North Vancouver.

The two loading assemblies will be used for loading bulk potash into ships for destinations around the world. These units replaced worn and antiquated equipment. This has now made Neptune a "State of the Art" facility in bulk ship loading of potash.

KEM was selected as the preferred partner to fabricate the loading assembly for their broad scope of in-house capabilities and their competitive bid.

Neptune and the project contractors, KWH, were very pleased by the quality of work provided by KEM in spite of a tight delivery schedule. The entire project was fast tracked through Knelson's manufacturing shop and was delivered to Neptune in time to meet their installation timetable.

Neptune Bulk Terminals (Canada) Ltd. is North America's largest multi-product bulk terminal. Neptune operates a highly efficient loading/unloading facility for a variety of bulk commodities.
